Giday Folks
Im possibly doing a four foot frost wall for  200 ft by 40 ft storage building, Im wondering if anyone here has done long low pours and what they did to brace? full height seems excessive no?

what ICF brand are you looking at? Maybe call them up and ask...

However, usually what I see for walls up to 4 feet is some sort of a top whaler (2x4 on edge) to keep the top straight and diagonal kickers from whaler to ground every 6-10 feet.

Hey Peter

Full height braces would definitely be a bit much on a 4' stem wall. This is a job we poured last week. 140', 40" high stem wall.

We used the Zont brackets to brace the ICF. They are a simple solution to bracing stem walls, as well as tall walls.

This job may look a little odd to you as we poured the footings and walls at the same time with our Monopour system. But the Zont brackets work just as well on a pre-poured footing

I may be one of the few in the western world that has kneewall braces. As Baldwin said find some straight 16' 2x4's and screw them together to form an L. Attach the L to the top of the forms. This will keep the wall straight and give you something to brace to.

Thanks for the tips fellas , I felt whalers and kickers would be the easiest and most efficient option,
Joseph , the photos arent showing up in my browser, perhaps its me or is there a trick to viewing that Im missing?

Joseph, T'was indeed on my end , Internet explorer wouldnt open the photos but chrome did just fine, nice looking set up , The monopour looks very nice,
