Does anyone have any experience with the new LP siding? I have seen many issues with the older LP siding on the internet. However is cheaper and easier to handle than Hardie and the issues of water failure supposedly have been corrected. Any opinions?

I use it, like it, and will continue to use it. Installs so much nicer than fiber cement, looks great, nice to work with.

Thanks for the reply. What do you use for trim boards? Do you buy it painted or unfinished?

LP smartside trim/frieze/fascia boards, smartside soffit panels usually prefinished.
