Hey folk,

Came across what looks like a cool concept:  Taco has a circulator that uses two temp sensors (one on the in pipe, one on the out) to measure the Delta T, and adjusts its flow rate to match a user-specified Delta-t between 5* and 50.*

Anyone have experience with this pump?  It seems like this would be a good way to simplify a system and make it more adaptive.  Just collecting data here, people.

I have heard multiple reports of bad noise problems with this pump.

also, maintaining "dt" isn't all that helpful really. I forget what the power savings of the pump are but ECM pumps are better. the comparisons taco offers are... shall we say... slanted.

Like their OOR series, high head pumps can create noise if over-sized. I had to take one out myself when concentration was off during the design.

ECM is better if when you learn how, but still trying to find a good home for the Delta T pump.
